DivinePrint is an addon/extension for DivineCut (sold separately). It lets you spray images onto clothes. Great for Logos, or even a new way to paint clothes.
How to use DivinePrint
Prerequisites
- Make sure your object has a material on it with a principled shader and is UV unwrapped (UV unwrapped is optional only if you want to bake the sprayed image for export later)
- Make sure Mirror modifier is applied to avoid mirrored sprays
- Make sure the material is selected in the materials tab
Using DivinePrint
- Install and enable the latest version of DivinePrint
- Import image as plane and place it against your cloth
Importing Image as Plane
- Blender 4.1 Downwards (Add> Image > Images as Planes)
- Blender 4.2 Upwards (Add> Image > Mesh Plane)
Snapping Image against the cloth/object
- Press Shift+Tab
- Press Shift+Ctrl+Tab > Enable Face, Enable Align Rotation to Target
- Set the cloth as cloth object in DivineCut/DivinePrint panel
- Press Spray (Alternatively, select the image plane, shift select the target object, then press Spray)
- DivinePrint will also spray the back of the cloth. Check the back of the cloth/object, go into edit mode, select the faces it sprayed and press Wipe to wipe them off of the cloth
- Done. Press materialize if you want to set a custom material for the logo/image sprayed. In the material tab the material will be presented where you can set the colour, material, bump, etc.
